1. Who We Are

We are an independent animal rescue and sanctuary project based in Ribeirão Preto, Brazil.
This initiative was created from a personal commitment — not external funding.
Today, we care for:
        - 7 rescued horses
        - 11 dogs
        - 12 cats

In addition to the animals currently under our direct care, other rescued horses have also been responsibly rehomed to trusted caregivers and partner rescuers when maintaining them became financially impossible.
Our work focuses on:
     - Safety
     - Daily nutrition
     - Veterinary care
     - Physical and emotional rehabilitation
     - Responsible long-term care

All of this has been built primarily through personal resources, dedication, and daily hands-on involvement.

2. Our Current Situation

From the beginning until today, the majority of the operational costs have been covered personally by the founder through significant personal commitment and sacrifice.
This includes:
  - Land rental
  - Feeding and nutrition
  - Veterinary treatments
  - Daily operational care
  - Maintenance and infrastructure

This commitment made it possible to rescue and protect many lives.
However, as the number of rescued animals increased, the financial and operational pressure also grew significantly.
While the sanctuary continues operating with dedication and responsibility, maintaining and improving the project without external support is no longer sustainable long-term.
This sanctuary exists because Daniela and her friend Cássio could not ignore the suffering of abandoned and neglected animals.
Sponsorship allows that work to continue.

3. How Funds Are Used

Average allocation of monthly operational costs:

  > 46% – Feeding & nutrition(hay, silage, horse feed, dog & cat food)

 > 27% – Daily care & sanctuary operations(caretaker, daily monitoring, operational and administrative  support)

  > 21% – Land & infrastructure maintenance (site maintenance, electricity, repairs, equipment)

 > 6% – Veterinary & hoof care(veterinary treatment,  hoof trimming/farrier)

We operate with a simple and transparent structure focused directly on animal care, recovery, and sanctuary operations.
Our work is guided by responsibility, compassion, and a commitment to providing rescued animals with stability, dignity, and a safe environment where they can recover properly.

Our priority remains where it should be: the animals.

4. Real Cost of Care

The sanctuary’s total monthly operational cost is approximately R$ 14,385 (~€2,450) , this includes.

             - Horses
             - Dogs and cats
             - Feeding and nutrition
             - Caretaker support
             - Veterinary expenses
             - Infrastructure and maintenance
             - Utilities and operational costs

The direct monthly care cost for a rescued horse varies depending on age, health condition, feeding needs, and rehabilitation requirements.

On average, horse-specific care monthly cost varies depending on health condition, feeding needs, and rehabilitation requirements and represents approximately:

               â‚¬150 – €250 per horse per month

Some animals requiring medical treatment or rehabilitation may exceed this range.

5. Standards of Care

Our commitment is to provide a real quality of life for every rescued animal. This includes:

  - Daily adequate nutrition
- Continuous health observation
                - Veterinary care when required
                - Safe and clean-living conditions
                - Gradual rehabilitation and recovery
               - Respectful and stress-conscious handling

Every animal has a story, a personality, and a life that matters.

6. Legal Documentation

The organisation is officially registered in Brazil. Available documents include:

 - CNPJ  registration
 - Institutional statutes
 - Legal incorporation documents

(Available upon request)

7. Why Sponsorship Matters

This sanctuary already exists and is fully operational. Sponsorship does not create the rescue —
it allows it to continue responsibly and sustainably. With support:
 - Current animals continue receiving proper care
 - Infrastructure and living conditions improve
 - Emergency situations can be handled more safely
 - Future rescues become possible within realistic capacity
Every contribution directly impacts the wellbeing and safety of the animals.

8. Transparency & Updates

We believe trust is built through openness and consistency.
For this reason:
   - Sponsors receive regular photo and video updates
   - Progress and recovery stories are shared continuously

Operational transparency remains a priorityWe want supporters to feel genuinely connected to the animals they help protect.

This project was built through compassion, persistence, and personal sacrifice.  Every rescue represents a real life that was given another chance. With support, that work can continue.
